The MT-LB light armored utility vehicle has disappeared from scene for several years. Development and production of the vehicle had been centered around the Kharkov Tractor Plant. Muromteplovoz plant is now offering new versions. The MT-LBM (6MA) is fitted with the standard 14.5mm KPVT heavy MG turret like fitted on the BTR-70. The MT-LBM (6MB) is fitted with the 30mm cannon turret fitted to the BTR-80A. MT-LBM 6M3 (Scorpion type) is fitted with a pair GSh-23, AGS-17 automatic grenade launcher and a NSVT heavy MG. |
