The world famous British Spitfire was one of the best fighter of the World War II. The Spitfire Mk.VII modification was built in August 1942. This modification was intended for intercepting the high-altitude reconnaissance aircraft and bombers. For the first time the Spitfire Mk.VII airplanes had entered in 124th Squadron of RAF in spring of 1943. Till the spring 1944 six squadrons were equipped with the Mk.VII fighters. In total 140 Mk.VII fighters were built.
