In 1932 the German Army asked to company DEMAG to develop a multiple purpose cross-country vechicle. Its development began with the prototype DII-1, was completed in 1934. The production model, D-7 was produced in 1937. Sd.Kfz.10 (Demag-D7) one ton half-track vehicle had an excellent behavior in cross-country mobility and great reliability. The layout of the vehicle was typical of most German halftracks, having pneumatic front tires and track unit at the rear. The 1938 these vechicles were introduced into the German army on all fronts during the World War II and very popular to the German soldiers, especially in Russia difficult terrain. Sd. Kfz. 10 was one of the most significant vehicles of the Wehrmacht and was to use to achieve multiple tasks of its excellent perfomance. Over 14,700 Sd. Kfz. 10 were served to battlefront until 1944. The scale model kit is the model mounted light anti-aircraft gun.
