PMP-3 (cover car) - car PMP pontoon park, intended for strengthen the entrances on built pontoon park
in weak soils (quicksand). Lining consists of large and small plates that are connected to tape the overall size of 11.7 at 3
meters. Tape is designed for a thousand passages of heavy tracked armored vehicles and is used irregularly in the
construction of pontoon bridges. The car in the PMP parks consisted in the armies of Soviet Union, the Warsaw Pact countries,
as well as in Finland. |
