Tu-126 (according to NATO codification: Moss - “moss”) is the first Soviet aircraft carrier of radio-electronic means of long-range radar detection of air and sea targets. Created on the basis of the passenger liner Tu-114.
November 7, 1963 Tu-126 was launched into serial production, which lasted until 1968. A total of 8 aircraft were built.
