Dornier Do X (it. Dornier Do X) - German passenger flying boat produced by the Dornier company. Itwas the largest, heaviest, and most powerful flying boat in the world. Intended for use on long-distance passenger airlines. The first flight took place in 1929. On October 20, during a 40-minute demonstration flight, this plane took off from Lake Constance with 169 passengers on board. This record remained unsurpassed in the first half of the 20th century.
