The German Panther tank was employed as the base of some special vehicles. One of them was the armored recovery vehicle Bergepanther (Sd.Kfz 179). Early machines were made on the base of Panther Ausf.D tanks. They had not yet the winch. Bergepanther ARVs were widely used for repair and recovery of all types of German tanks since summer 1943. One of the new ICM plastic kits is Bergepanther (early version) in 1/35 scale. This kit is injection moulded, contains 2 hull parts and 288 parts in 7 sprues for assembly of German armored recovery vehicle Bergepanther model. The kit includes decal for 2 variants.
