The PZL-104 Wilga was developed and manufac-tured in Poland and made its maiden flight on 2 April 1962. It was delivered to many Warsaw Pact countries including USSR, where the aircraft was known under "Vilga-35" designation, and was popular in DOSAAF as an initial trainer.
