Ka-62 Russian civil helicopter

Multipurpose helicopter Ka-60 "Kasatka" is designated for transportation of armored soldiers, injured evacuation, rescuing works, pilots training. The machine has new engines developed by Rybinsk engineering design bureau under chief engineer A.S. Novikov. Pilots and crew staff are located at new seats that decrease energy consumption. All major systems are doubled. The helicopter is difficult to locate through infrared, optical and radiolocation means. Along with military helicopter, the Kamov bureau has offered the civil variant of helicopter Ka-60 which has received the designation Ka-62. The helicopter may be used for passenger transportation, cargo transportation, emergency service and various patrol operations.
