The modification Bf-109Bf designed in Spring 190 had become one of the best fighters of the WWII. It had considerable improvements in the aerodynamic. Since March 1941 there were produced Bf-109F2 fighters that had DB 601N engines and 15mm MG 151/15 machine cannons. Bf-109F became the basis of the German fighter aviation during Barbarossa operation. They took part in hard air battles from the Kola to the Crimea peninsulas.
